AirPods Pro transparency mode

In addition to the noise reduction mode, Apple also added an ambient sound function called "Transparent Mode" to AirPods Pro. Under this function, AirPods Pro can not only turn off active noise reduction, but even ignore the silicone earbuds. The passive noise reduction effect makes our ears more intuitively collect the sound information of the surrounding environment

Future TWS headsets will follow this trend, turning the transmission mode into the ordinary function of the headset, and some noise-cancelling headsets in the ambient sound mode use a design idea that is collected through an outward microphone and then plays the sound to the ear. AirPods Pro probably uses a similar scheme. But compared to traditional noise-cancelling headphones, AirPods Pro's control of the noise floor and wind noise is obviously more ideal. The ambient sound quality in the "transparent mode" is more "refreshing", without much rough feeling after processing. When wearing and turning on "Transparent Mode", the ambient sounds we perceive can be almost seamlessly connected

Of course, in addition to noise reduction, Apple added a new high-amplitude speaker unit to the AirPods Pro. From the perspective of hearing, AirPods Pro obviously has a more ideal mid-frequency performance than AirPods without noise reduction. For the audio user, the full texture of AirPods Pro is probably good feedback.
