Apple/Samsung is in the process of privately developing a true wireless charging method: the phone does not need to touch any charging device at all.

Now, a secret patent application from Samsung has been exposed. Since 2016, it has been researching the real implementation of wireless charging, which is still very significant for mobile terminals. 

According to Samsung’s published patent details, they built a special area to bypass the obstacles with the help of reflectors, and as long as you support the charging standard equipment, you can charge in the coverage area, before Apple prepared a similar wireless charging solution.

Now, in the process of promoting the development of wireless charging of mobile phones, due to the power of giants such as Apple and Samsung, it is bound to accelerate the development of wireless charging speed, so we should be able to expect true wireless charging.

If this wireless charging method is implemented, perhaps our cell phone battery life problem can be improved. This way is like covering a area with WiFi, so you can charge your phone in any part of your home in the future.

However, the disadvantage is that because wireless charging is electromagnetic waves, it may cause certain radiation to the body.
